An Integrated Pest Management Program incorporates the four elements vital to successful mosquito control programs as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Clarke recommends this approach as the gold standard of responsible mosquito control.
Combined with education of residents on the means to prevent exposure to mosquito-borne disease, integrated pest management provides a comprehensive approach to mosquito control that has been proven effective in the reduction of West Nile Virus, encephalitis and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Our program begins with surveying and mapping of potential mosquito breeding sites, and identifying species present in the area. We then monitor annoyance levels in light traps and coordinate them with an extensive network of traps. The data is collected and utilized to design the most appropriate and effective program to fit individual needs.

The next step is larval control. By monitoring the targeted breeding sites where mosquitoes spend their juvenile stage, and treating with control techniques, these aquatic stages are unable to develop into adult flying mosquitoes. This treatment coupled with adult control provides the most effective mosquito management program.

Adult control is achieved by an ultra-low-volume (ULV) application. This treatment is commonly used to provide immediate control of existing mosquito populations. The ULV technique forces a large volume of air through a specially designed nozzle and disperses the chemical into a fine aerosol mist. The ULV droplets effectively impinge on adult mosquitoes in flight to provide a contact kill. ULV misting results in a low dosage rate application.
We are sensitive to your family and pet environment. All products used in the treatments are applied in compliance with the State and Federal EPA regulations.
