Mosquito U is Back!....(And Better Than Ever!!)

Prescription Larviciding:
The Fundamentals and Beyond, April 14 - 16, 2009

Larviciding has often been compared to "closing the barn door before the horse gets out". Prescription larviciding combines critical components of your areas mosquito species and habitats with various larvicide formulations, types of application equipment, and timing!

This module will explore both the fundamentals and recent advancements in our industry as they pertain to prescription larviciding to help you determine the specific remedies for your larval mosquito populations.

Each program will include classroom instruction, demonstrations and hands-on experience in the field and in the lab. As part of the course, you will be given a complete set of practical reference materials to take with you. The casual atmosphere promotes free exchange of ideas and techniques.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your program, just let us know in writing and we will cheerfully refund your registration fee in full.

Each course brings you face to face with a variety of leading experts including mosquito control directors, authors, application specialists and researchers with both domestic and international experience.

If You're Interested In Continuing Education Credits

Clarke Mosquito Control is now working with many state agencies across the U.S. to provide Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). Please indicate on the registration card if you want to receive CEUs for a particular state. Clarke Institute of Technology will make every effort to receive CEU credits for your state.

Fees

The course fee of $1200 includes:

Tuition for the entire 3-day program* In-depth course materials to take with you Hotel accommodations for 3 nights 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches

Payment Procedure

Once we receive your registration card or call, you will be billed a $300 non-refundable registration fee payable within 14 days. The balance will be due prior to taking the course.

Accommodations

Hotel arrangements have been made at the Holiday Inn, Carol Stream, just 30 minutes from the O'Hare Airport. Upon registration, reservations will be automatically made for you for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. If you expect to stay longer, please notify us and we will extend your reservation for you.

Transportation

Transportation from the airport to the hotel may be pre-arranged by calling A-1 Limo service at (630) 833-3788. One-way shared fees are $43 from O'Hare and $54 from Midway. Since this is a shared rate, please be sure to specify that you would like to share your ride, otherwise a full fare will apply. Please call ahead. Upon arrival call (800) 354-5849
